The CPU could be involved because it processes instructions and calculations. If the computer is running lots of programs or games, the CPU may struggle to keep up. RAM could also be involved because it temporarily stores data for programs that are currently running. I would advise the customer to close unused programs, check how much RAM they have, or consider upgrading the CPU or RAM if the computer is old.
